Director of Product Management and eCommerce Analytics

  • Responsible for product vision, strategy, and positioning in building a VC backed SaaS/DaaS software company from 10 to 150 employees

  • Leadership role in the product development, data and analytics strategy for the core Clavis (eCommerce) InSight product

  • Lead product strategist for the creation and development of Clavis OneView for Amazon, a market leading SaaS analytics tool designed to leverage many different types of data to increase sales and margins on all Amazon platforms around the world

  • Hands on creation of UX prototypes of the OneView for Amazon user interface and refinement based on customer and internal feedback using Tableau, High-Charts, and HTML

  • Familiarity with many “Big Data” visualization, analytics, and processing tools used to handle millions of records per day (Hadoop, ETL, Spark)

  • Quickly promoted to Senior Program Manager in charge of defining requirements, partnering with internal and external development teams to deliver new releases, and developing relationships with partners to enhance services and provide new sales channels.

  • Spearheaded 40% increase in user registrations on Tech Target websites and 5% increase in third-party lead generation.

  • Successfully lead a global team, including 30 offshore resources, to implement a new CMS to support 75 content editors and 60 Tech Target websites.  Project was company’s first product development initiative utilizing a global delivery model.

Founding member of Nadastra, a startup global services company with offices in the US, Sri Lanka, and India focused on business strategy and operations transformation. Summary of consulting projects:

Healthcare Rehab, Institutional Pharmacy and Long Term Care Company (17,000+ employees)

  • Worked closely with C-Level executives to provide strategic IT Operations and other services from offshore.  Lead a team of 16 geographically dispersed resources to provide services for client.

  • Lead the implementation of an invoice scanning/OCR solution to allow Accounts Payable invoices to be processed from offshore.  Solution leveraged EMC Captiva/Kofax OCR/Documentum with integration to PeopleSoft Financials.

  • Significantly decreased the time required to complete strategic IT projects by creating and optimizing the implementation process by utilizing a global team to roll out initiatives to 260 remote locations across the US. 

Property Management and Real Estate Investment Trust (45,000+ employees)

  • Lead the creation, training and implementation of new business processes and capabilities using a global team of resources (US, India and Sri Lanka)

  • Worked with Legal, Lease Management and Finance departments to create requirements and business case for online Lease Library application.  Utilized Kofax to scan/OCR over 4,000 hard copy leases now managed in Documentum 6. 

  • Evaluated the overall IT operations to identify and implement an improvement plan to support the forecasted business growth

  • Played the role of Sr. IT Operations Specialist. Focused on improving the IT organization operations, services levels and user experience by leveraging offshore IT Operations team

  • Managed time critical initiative to select and deploy a search and content categorization tool (Autonomy IDOL) for Gillette’s corporate Intranet. 

  • Managed CEO-sponsored Supplier Diversity Initiative to create a web-based application designed to help Minority and Woman owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) to become Gillette suppliers.
    Program substantially increased Gillette’s MWBE relationships and resulted in Gillette being named "Corporation of the Year" by the New England Minority Supplier Council.

  • Enhance and modify Gillette’s public websites, including gillette.com, duracell.com, mach3.com, oralb.com, gillettevenus.com, and theessentials.com. Manage website maintenance requests, execute hands-on website maintenance, and work with vendors to complete projects.

  • Launched theessentials.com, the first direct-to-consumer eCommerce website from CPG company
